 Geena Davis is an American actress, writer, producer and model with a net worth of 30 million dollars. Geena was among the most prominent leading ladies during the 1990s and 2000s. Her most famous work is for her roles in films such as "Thelma and Louise", "A League of Their Own" and "The long kiss Goodnight".She was born Virginia Elizabeth Davis in Wareham, Massachusetts, on January 21st in 1956. Lucille, her mother was a teaching assistant while William his father was an engineer. Her interest in music began at an early age performing on flute and piano as well as organ when she was a teen and serving as an organist in the local Congregationalist church. She attended Wareham High School and was an exchange student from Sweden where she became fluent in the language. Geena Davis earned her Drama degree at Boston University. She worked with Ann Taylor as a window model before landing her modeling contract in the company of Zoli. Davis went on to make appearances in a number of other movies, including "Buffalo Bill", Knight Rider", Riptide", Family Ties, and others. "Tootsie" was second most profitable screen production that year and was awarded 10 Oscar nods.
